Project

Design and Build of Off-loading Quay at Seraya, Jurong Island

The Off-Loading Quay (OLQ) Project is intended as a dedicated facility for the off-loading of modules from ballast barges located within SHELL facility in Jurong Island. The scope of Works under this Design & Build Contract comprises the planning, design (including submissions to and obtaining approval from the relevant Authorities/Stakeholders, etc.), construction and the handover of the proposed OLQ and all other related works in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications.

Antara Koh was the Main Contractor with our own alternative design for the 55 m x 30 m RC deck. Around 50% of RC works are precast, which were carried out at Antara Koh own yard by Antara Koh own RC team. This resulted in less than 3 months of RC works completion at the site. “V” fenders & 20-ton bollards, permanent fencing, removable gate & removable handrails were installed to complete the facility
